The AI Prompt That Turns One Selfie Into Your Personal 7-Page Style & Color Guide

I used to spend more time worrying about what I looked like on camera than actually making the content. Wrong colors, wrong makeup, wrong everything - or so it felt. Then I found a way to get a stylist-level breakdown of exactly what suits me, for free, from one photo and one prompt. Here's exactly how I did it, and the exact wording I used.

You don't need a personal stylist. You need one good prompt.

Most people think looking confident on camera is a personality trait - some people just "have it." It's not. It's information.

Once you know your actual best colors, your best makeup direction, your most flattering hairstyle - you stop guessing, stop hesitating, and just show up. This guide gives you the exact prompt to get that information from one selfie, in one shot.
Step 1

Upload One Clear Selfie

Natural light, no filter, facing the camera. This is the only "input" the whole system needs - the better the photo, the more accurate the read.
Tip
Use a selfie you'd actually consider posting. That's the whole point - you're finding out what already works.
Step 2

Drop In This Exact Prompt

Paste this into Claude (or your AI tool of choice) along with your photo - the full prompt is in the card below, with a one-tap copy button.
Step 3

Get Your Full Style Breakdown

Claude hands back a complete profile - your seasonal color palette, your best neutrals and accent colors, your ideal makeup shades, your most flattering haircuts, even the jewellery metals that suit you. It's the same kind of "signature look" summary you'd get from a $200+ in-person color consultation.
Step 4

Turn It Into Content You Actually Post

Now that you know what works, use it everywhere: your outfit choices, your camera-day makeup, your AI-generated visuals or AI twin - even feed the palette straight back into your AI content prompts so everything you post stays visually consistent.

This is where it stops being "a fun test" and starts being a system you use every week.
The Prompt
CREATE MY PERSONAL CAMERA CONFIDENCE + AI STYLE GUIDE

Using the selfie I have uploaded as your primary visual reference, create a beautifully designed 7-page personalised style guide showing me how to present myself confidently and consistently:

on camera

in photoshoots

in Reels and social media content

on Zoom, webinars and video calls

for professional/personal branding

when generating AI images or an AI version of myself

The purpose of this guide is not to criticise or change my appearance. It is to identify the colours, styling choices, hair, makeup and visual details that complement my visible features and help create a cohesive, recognisable personal brand.

Do not rate attractiveness, identify "flaws," recommend weight loss, cosmetic procedures, or suggest that any natural feature needs correcting.

Base recommendations only on what can reasonably be observed from the uploaded photograph. Remember that lighting, camera settings and editing can alter colour perception, so describe seasonal colour analysis as an informed visual estimate rather than an absolute fact.

OVERALL DESIGN DIRECTION

Create the guide as 7 separate portrait pages with a consistent premium editorial design.

Visual aesthetic:

sophisticated

feminine

modern

editorial

soft luxury

elegant personal-brand consultant aesthetic

warm ivory/cream background

deep forest green headings

muted champagne-gold accents

very fine gold dividers

understated botanical iconography

refined serif display typography paired with clean sans-serif body typography

spacious margins

beautifully organised information cards

subtle rounded or decorative borders around photographs

premium magazine/editorial layout

minimal rather than cluttered

Use my uploaded photograph throughout the guide where appropriate.

When demonstrating colours, hair or styling on my image, preserve my recognisable facial features rather than redesigning my face.

The pages should look like a high-end personalised brand/style consultation, not a generic Canva template.

Use concise text so everything remains legible.

PAGE 1 — MY PERSONAL COLOR PROFILE

TITLE:

Your Personal Color Analysis

SUBTITLE:

Your most camera-friendly colours for content, branding & everyday style

Include my original selfie prominently on the left.

Create a personalised visual colour assessment considering:

apparent undertone

apparent depth

apparent contrast

apparent brightness

overall colour harmony

Then identify my most likely seasonal colour family, while making clear that this is based on the photograph and lighting available.

Include:

MY BEST COLORS

Show approximately 10–12 labelled colour swatches that would work especially well:

near my face

in tops

dresses

jackets

activewear

photoshoots

Reels

speaking-to-camera videos

MY BEST NEUTRALS

Show approximately 5 complementary neutrals.

MY BEST ACCENT COLORS

Show approximately 6 stronger colours that could make my content visually interesting without overpowering me.

MY BEST METALS

Recommend approximately 3–4 jewellery/metal finishes.

COLORS TO USE LESS OF NEAR MY FACE

Show approximately 5–6 shades that may be less harmonious under typical camera lighting.

Never describe these colours as ugly or forbidden.

Explain that less flattering shades can still be used in trousers, accessories, backgrounds or branding.

Add one short takeaway such as:

"Your strongest camera palette is…"

PAGE 2 — COLOR DRAPING: HOW COLORS READ ON CAMERA

TITLE:

Colors On Me

SUBTITLE:

See how different colour families influence your on-camera presence

Create three side-by-side versions of my selfie with realistic coloured fabric draped around my shoulders.

Do not alter my facial features.

Label the three columns:

MOST HARMONIOUS

Use one of my strongest colours.

Explain briefly how it interacts with my visible colouring.

ALSO WORKS WELL

Use a secondary colour.

Explain what makes it suitable.

LOWER-CONTRAST OPTION

Use a less harmonious colour.

Explain neutrally why it may create less visual definition on camera.

Avoid claims such as making someone look older, unattractive, unhealthy or flawed.

Then create three horizontal colour palettes:

BEST CAMERA COLORS

6 shades.

VERSATILE SUPPORTING COLORS

6 shades.

USE MORE STRATEGICALLY

6 shades.

Also explain how to use the third category successfully, for example:

away from the face

as a background

in graphics

as accessories

balanced with one of my stronger colours

Add one short practical tip about choosing tops for talking-head videos.

PAGE 3 — MY ON-CAMERA MAKEUP PROFILE

TITLE:

Your Camera-Ready Makeup Guide

SUBTITLE:

Polished, recognisable and still completely you

Use my selfie prominently.

Create recommendations intended for natural professional content, not dramatic transformation.

Assess the visible colouring and recommend:

Suggest broad undertone and finish direction rather than exact product shades.

For example:

neutral

warm

cool

neutral-warm

And:

natural

satin

luminous

soft-matte

HIGHLIGHTER

Provide approximately 3 shades.

COLORS TO USE MORE STRATEGICALLY

Provide approximately 5 makeup shades that could dominate the overall colouring under camera lighting.

PAGE 4 — CAMERA-READY MAKEUP PLACEMENT

PAGE 5 — MY HAIR PROFILE

Do not describe them as forbidden.

SIGNATURE HAIR COLOR DIRECTION

PAGE 6 — MY BEST ON-CAMERA HAIRSTYLES

TITLE:

Best Hairstyles For You

SUBTITLE:

Easy styles that photograph beautifully and support your personal brand

Use the uploaded selfie as reference and create 5 hairstyle visualisations while preserving my recognisable facial features and approximate hair colour.

Label each hairstyle.

Include a mixture such as:

signature everyday style

polished business/content style

casual Reel/social style

photoshoot style

pulled-back or alternate style

Choose the actual styles based on the uploaded person rather than automatically using these exact categories.

For each hairstyle, give a very short explanation of when it works well:

Talking-head videos

Professional brand shoot

Lifestyle content

Editorial content

Also include:

PARTING OPTIONS

Suggest 1–2 versatile options without implying someone's natural face needs to be corrected.

EASY CAMERA STYLING TIPS

Give 4–5 simple styling principles.

LENGTH / SHAPE DIRECTION

Suggest broadly useful hair lengths or shapes if appropriate.

Rather than saying "hairstyles to avoid," identify styles that may require more styling, lighting or maintenance to achieve the desired personal-brand look.

PAGE 7 — MY SIGNATURE CAMERA + AI LOOK

My Signature Look

Your visual blueprint for showing up confidently — in real life and AI

This is the most important summary page.

MY SIGNATURE VISUAL STYLE

Examples:

"fresh, polished, quietly confident"

"warm, modern, softly elevated"

"bold, editorial, contemporary"

Create something unique to this person.

MY ON-CAMERA VIBE

Describe the visual energy my styling could communicate for a personal brand.

hero colours

MY SIGNATURE MAKEUP

Summarise the complete look in one concise sentence.

MY JEWELLERY + ACCESSORY DIRECTION

Recommend broadly complementary finishes, colours and visual styles.

MY BEST NECKLINE / TOP STYLES FOR VIDEO

Recommend several neckline or top-style options primarily from the perspective of camera composition, layering and colour placement, not body correction.

MY CONTENT UNIFORM

Create 3 repeatable outfit formulas I can use when I do not know what to wear.

For example:

REELS / TALKING HEAD

[Colour] top + [jewellery] + [hair] + [makeup]

ZOOM / WEBINAR

[Outfit formula]

BRAND SHOOT

[Outfit formula]

Tailor these to the person.

ADD A SPECIAL SECTION ON PAGE 7:

MY AI VERSION OF ME — STYLE DESCRIPTION

Write a polished paragraph that I can paste directly into an AI image generator whenever I want to generate images of myself.

It should describe my styling, not invent physical characteristics that cannot be confidently observed.

Include:

signature colour palette

clothing aesthetic

preferred neckline/top silhouettes

jewellery

hair colour direction

hairstyle

makeup

overall aesthetic

brand energy

photography style

lighting style

Write it in this format:

AI STYLE PROMPT

"Style the subject in…"

Make this approximately 80–130 words and highly reusable.

It should work for:

professional photos

lifestyle content

social media graphics

speaking-event imagery

office scenes

editorial photoshoots

AI influencer/personal-brand imagery

Do NOT change ethnicity, age, facial structure or other identity-defining characteristics.

ADD AN EVERYDAY CAMERA KIT

At the bottom of Page 7 include a small visual strip called:

MY CAMERA-READY ESSENTIALS

Show approximately 6 illustrated items such as:

signature coloured top

lip colour

blush

earrings

hair styling product/tool category

accessory

Choose these based on the final analysis.

FINAL PERSONAL BRAND SUMMARY

Finish Page 7 with this statement, personalised to the person:

"Your signature look isn't about becoming someone else. It's about creating a visual language that makes showing up feel easier, more consistent and more like you."

Then add three personalised descriptive words underneath.

IMPORTANT ANALYSIS RULES

Do not identify the person.

Do not guess ethnicity, religion, health status or other sensitive personal information.

Do not critique body shape or weight.

Do not identify physical "flaws."

Do not recommend cosmetic or medical procedures.

Do not make attractiveness ratings.

Keep all styling recommendations positive, optional and practical.

Treat colour-season analysis as an estimate affected by the photograph's lighting.

Maintain the person's recognisable features in all visualisations.

Do not dramatically smooth skin, enlarge eyes, reshape the nose, change lips or otherwise beautify the person's face.

Aim for consistency and confidence, rather than correction.

Make every page practical enough that the person could use it while planning content.

The completed guide should feel like a combination of:

personal stylist + colour consultant + personal-brand photographer + content strategist + AI image art director.

The final result should leave the person knowing:

What colours should I wear on camera?

What should I wear when I need to film content quickly?

How should I style my hair and makeup?

What should I wear for a brand shoot?

What colours should appear repeatedly in my personal brand?

How can I make my visual presence recognisable?

How should I describe my styling when generating AI images of myself?

What is my repeatable signature look?
Real Talk

Knowing What Suits You Isn't the Hard Part. Showing Up Every Day Is.

Even with the guide in hand, some days you still won't feel like it. That's real. Some mornings you look at the camera and just don't feel it - no amount of knowing your best colors fixes that.

Which is exactly why I built SASCA the way I did: confidence doesn't mean you always feel like showing up. It means you have a system for the days you don't - so the content still goes out even when you don't.
