7 Claude Prompts For Building Your First Meta Ad Campaign

Meta Ads Manager gives beginners dozens of decisions before they have even written the first sentence. Claude can make the process clearer by helping you define the offer, choose an angle, write variations, plan the creative, and review the campaign before you spend.

Use Claude as a structured campaign assistant - not an autopilot.

The prompts below work best in one conversation so the context carries forward. Review every claim, audience assumption, tracking event, and creative against Meta’s current policies before publishing. Never invent testimonials, guarantees, or results.
Step 1

Turn The Offer Into An Ad Brief

Act as a beginner-friendly Meta advertising strategist. Based on the offer below, create a clear ad brief with: target buyer, painful problem, desired outcome, mechanism, key differentiator, proof I can legally use, objections, CTA, and claims I must avoid. Ask me up to 5 questions before making assumptions. Offer: [PASTE OFFER]. Price: [PRICE]. Landing page: [URL].
Step 2

Find The Strongest Angle

Using the ad brief above, generate 10 distinct campaign angles. For each, include: the audience insight, emotional driver, promise, risk of the angle being too broad or unbelievable, and the type of person most likely to respond. Prioritize specific, truthful outcomes over hype. Recommend the best 3 angles for a beginner with a small budget and explain why.
Step 3

Write The Ad Variations

Write 5 Meta ad variations for angle [ANGLE]. Create one short, one medium, and one longer primary-text version, plus 5 headlines and 5 descriptions. Use a clear, conversational tone. Do not use fake urgency, income guarantees, personal-attribute callouts, or unsupported claims. Make each version lead to this CTA: [CTA]. Audience: [AUDIENCE]. Offer: [OFFER].
Step 4

Create Scroll-Stopping Hooks

Generate 20 hooks for short-form video or image ads promoting [OFFER]. Group them into: problem-led, curiosity-led, demonstration-led, mistake-led, and outcome-led. Keep each hook under 12 words. They must be understandable without context, avoid sensationalism, and make a viewer want to learn more without promising guaranteed results.
Step 5

Build The Creative Brief

Create a simple creative brief for 5 Meta ads based on the best angles above. For each ad, specify: format, first 3 seconds or visual hook, on-screen text, shot list, primary message, CTA, and what should remain visible with sound off. Design for a beginner using a phone and Canva. Keep the creative clear, mobile-first, and focused on one message.
Step 6

Map The Beginner Campaign

Design a simple beginner Meta campaign for [OFFER] with a total budget of [BUDGET] per day. Explain the objective, campaign structure, number of ad sets, number of ads, audience approach, placements, tracking events, test duration, and decision rules. Do not recommend complex scaling. State what data I need before making a decision and distinguish between a creative problem, audience problem, landing-page problem, and tracking problem.
Step 7

Audit Before Publishing

Act as a cautious Meta ads reviewer. Audit the campaign below before launch. Check: clarity of offer, consistency between ad and landing page, unsupported claims, personal-attribute language, excessive punctuation, misleading before-and-after framing, targeting assumptions, tracking gaps, budget risks, and missing disclosures. Return: 1) critical fixes, 2) recommended improvements, 3) what is ready, and 4) a final pre-launch checklist. Campaign: [PASTE CAMPAIGN].

Real Talk

Claude Can Draft The Campaign. It Cannot Guarantee The Result.

The biggest beginner mistake is launching before the offer, landing page, creative, and tracking are ready. Start with one clear offer, a realistic budget, accurate data, and a decision process instead of changing everything after a few hours.
